Iryna Gusiuk creates paintings that explore the relationship between space, imagination, and emotional presence.

Working between figurative imagery, landscape, and invented architecture, she constructs environments that exist somewhere between observation and dream. Rooms, forests, gardens, and interiors become psychological spaces rather than literal locations.

Rather than illustrating specific narratives, her paintings invite viewers into suspended moments where atmosphere carries meaning. Figures appear as visitors, witnesses, or traces within carefully constructed worlds shaped by intuition, memory, and imagination.

Through layered composition, controlled color relationships, and a balance between realism and invention, Gusiuk investigates how emotional experience can be embedded within space itself.

Based in Ocean Springs, Mississippi, she works in painting and mixed media.
