CELEBRATING ENVIRONMENTAL FILMMAKING
HAPPENING JUNE 11-13
The Walter Anderson Museum of Art announces its inaugural Fisheye Film Festival! This festival is a celebration of environmentalism and activism presented through the lens of Mississippi filmmakers. The Fisheye Film Festival presents the work of professional videographers alongside young film and nature enthusiasts for a unique look into challenges facing our natural environment.
Join us for three days of activities featuring screenings, talks, workshops, and more!
Fisheye Film Festival is an extension of the Museum’s National Geographic x Videos for Change Slingshot Challenge programming. We are proud to partner with the Mary C. O’Keefe Cultural Center and Crave Food Hall for this exciting event!

JUNE 13 | 1-4PM
Mississippi State University Intermediate Graphic Design students created a series of 11x17-inch posters for the Fisheye Film Festival. Their posters were given the same guiding inspiration borrowed from the 5 core topics of the National Geographic Slingshot Challenge: Clean the Air, Restore the Ocean, Protect Nature, Reduce Waste, and Address Climate Change. These posters will be available to view for free inside the Ocean Springs Community Center during the run of Fisheye Film Festival, June 11-13.
