Join us in the Museum galleries on Friday, October 16, at 10AM for this month’s Words & Wonder! ✨
On the second Monday of October, our nation honors Indigenous Peoples’ Day, commemorating the heritage of Native American people. We will read "Just Like Grandma" and "Ten Little Rabbits" and plant crops based on the Legend of the Three Sisters.
Come learn with us and celebrate the cultures, traditions and contributions of Native people!
Words & Wonder is a FREE program that combines storytelling and creative play for children (0-5) and their caregivers at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art on the third Friday of each month. WAMA educators are joined by our friends at the Ocean Springs Library to ignite young imaginations through stories and art.
