Walter's Garden

Summer Camp for rising 3rd - 6th graders! ⭐️ Nearly all of Walter Anderson’s work features native plants of the Gulf Coast. In this camp, students will be introduced to science and art making processes to create their own little garden of art. Some projects include flower pressing, plant cell sculpture, and solar printing. In addition to these art projects, we will explore nature journaling and even observe plants under a microscope to learn all about the magic that happens above and below the soil in the garden.

Campers should come to the Art Cottage each day with a lunch and water bottle. Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided.
