About The Event
The Walter Anderson Museum of Art is pleased to announce that they will be hosting The 3D School of Petal, Mississippi, and the students of Pamela Fuller in their original performative work, Walter Anderson and the Magic Hour.  There will be two performances: 11 AM and 12:45 PM.
This piece is composed of a series of dramatic monologues set to music honoring the artist Walter Inglis Anderson. The work is created in collaboration with poet Charles Ghigna and composer Hutson Rollins, with a score accompanied by piano, oboe, and bassoon. The performance is a moving tribute to Walter Anderson and his animal friends on Horn Island. Walter Anderson and the Magic Hour was developed by music instructor Pamela Fuller with support from the Mississippi Arts Commission. This event is FREE to the public with limited tickets. Please sign up one of the time slots.
