About The Event
Join us on Friday, August 15, from 6-8PM to celebrate Dusti Bongé's legacy and reflect on your own by joining us for a night of vanitas still life drawing at the Walter Anderson Art Cottage.
A "vanitas" is a genre of painting that channels the idea of "Memento Mori," or that all things come to an end - so enjoy it now, and make all the art you can! Charcoal, Pastels, and Paper will be available, but feel free to bring your own supplies as well as subjects to add to the still life compositions. Our “Uncorked” series invites adults to bring their own beverages and enjoy accessible fine art workshops in the studios and on the picturesque porch of The WAMA Art Cottage. 🥂
