About The Event
Want to make a block print like Walter?
Our "Uncorked" Block Printing Workshop is part of our larger “Uncorked” series which invites adults to bring their own beverages and enjoy accessible fine art workshops in the Courtney Blossman Art Cottage located across the street from the Museum.
With instruction from artist and Director of Education, Anthony DiFatta, and inspiration from the artwork Walter Inglis Anderson created at Oldfields, participants will design and carve their own Soft-Kut blocks to produce their own print editions. All materials provided.
For more information about Oldfields and the work Anderson created while there, explore our upcoming exhibition this program is a part of, Return to Oldfields. This exhibition explores the artistic, ecological, and cultural significance of the Southern home, through the lens of the historic Lewis House (also known as Oldfields) where Walter Anderson famously lived and worked during the 1940s.
Cost: $40 Non-Members | $32 Members
