Walter Anderson’s Travels: A Winter Ticketed Dinner Series takes inspiration from the places Walter visited, with each dinner highlighting a different location. This first evening focuses on New Orleans, celebrating the city where he was born through its flavors, culture, and spirit. Guests will enjoy an immersive culinary experience crafted by Chef Dannie Landry and the Traveler Café & Art Experience.
First Course: Jambalaya Risotto A bayou-meets-European bowl of comfort — Arborio rice simmered slowly with smoky andouille, Gulf shrimp stock, trinity aromatics, and stewed tomatoes. Finished with scallion oil and a whisper of Delta spices. A tribute to Anderson’s time in Louisiana, where the marshlands and fishermen shaped his understanding of the Gulf South.
