About The Event

Ignite curiosity in your classroom with The Nature of Discovery: Bringing STEAM to Life Through Art, Science, and Story. This is the final of three online teacher professional development opportunities this summer.

Part 1: Join us August 12 with guest speaker Amanda Douglas, Stewardship Coordinator with Audubon Delta and an accomplished artist who uses her work to teach others about bird conservation. Learn more about Brushes, Beaks, and More, an art-themed conservation program that blends creativity with science to engage diverse communities.

Part 2: Continue learning through flexible, CEU‑aligned modules asynchronously on your own time. Perfect for K–12 educators ready to elevate STEM instruction through creativity, inquiry, and real‑world connections.

The first 15 teachers to complete the webinar and asynchronous modules within the week of the webinar will receive free CEUs. We will email teachers links to the webinar and modules after registration.

Huge thanks to National Academy of Sciences, Ingalls, & SouthArts (+NEA) for…
