Join us Saturday, October 3, from 11AM - 1PM for Community Day!
Come explore George Rodrigue’s Bayou paintings and learn how the artist drew inspiration from Cajun folklore, especially the Rougarou. After looking closely at Rodrigue’s work, participants will create an original imaginary creature and write a short poem or story describing its appearance, powers, origin, and desires. Free and open to all ages! Museum admission is free 11AM-1PM ✨🎨
