Summer Santa at Words & Wonder
Santa is coming to WAMA! Children five and under and their caregivers join us every third Friday morning for story time and creative play. This time Santa will be making a special appearance as our narrator.

About The Event
Santa is coming to WAMA!
Children five and under and their caregivers join us the third Friday of each month for story time and creative play. Young inquiring minds are introduced to the art of Walter Anderson, children’s books exploring imagination and the natural world, and hands-on art activities.
This month's program we will have Santa making a special appearance as our narrator. It will take place in the Museum, specifically in our current exhibition, Modern Scroll Prints in Color: A Return to the 1949 Exhibition, which highlights the wonder and escapism in fairytales through Walter Anderson's block prints. We'd like to thank Dave Meisburger, the President of Kiwanis Club of Gautier/Ocean Springs, for this special program.
