About The Event
Join Sherry Carlson at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art for a 6-week watercolor class that will explore new ways to visualize and capture the natural world; utilizing light, texture, composition, contrast, and color. Â
Sherry is a native of the Gulf Coast, growing up in Gulfport. Â After obtaining a graphic design degree from USM and UAH she worked in the corporate world specializing in print and communications before returning to her first love, painting. Â
She studied plein air, surreal art, figure drawing, and portraiture all over the U.S., from San Antonio to Alaska. Â
Join Sherry on Mondays from 1pm-3pm beginning March 23 in this exploration of all things watercolor.Â
