About The Event

Join Sherry Carlson at the Walter Anderson Museum of Art for a 6-week watercolor class that will explore new ways to visualize and capture the natural world; utilizing light, texture, composition, contrast, and color.

Sherry is a native of the Gulf Coast, growing up in Gulfport.  After obtaining a graphic design degree from USM and UAH she worked in the corporate world specializing in print and communications before returning to her first love, painting.

She studied plein air, surreal art, figure drawing, and portraiture all over the U.S., from San Antonio to Alaska.

Join Sherry on Mondays from 1pm-3pm beginning March 23 in this exploration of all things watercolor.

"A successful painting can be sensed, it can touch emotions."
