Opening Reception: Leif Anderson and Carlyle Wolfe Lee

Join us THURS,  APRIL 20 for the opening reception for "Gestures of A Dancing Woman: The Art of Leif Anderson" and "Marking Time: Carlyle Wolfe Lee."

Experience the art of Leif Anderson with figures that glide, leap, and spin across the pages. The artist’s appreciation of the female form is based on a life-long career as a professional dancer. Walter Anderson’s youngest daughter incorporates movement, rhythm, and joy into each artwork that she creates, drawing the viewer into the dance.

Appreciate the variety and ever-changing beauty of the natural world through a unique body of work exploring time and space. Carlyle Wolfe Lee uses uses familiar forms such as flowers and plants to showcase the subtle rhythm of nature’s cycles.
