Local Artist Program: Kathy Tosch

Join Kathy Tosch at The Traveler Café + Art for the opening reception of her exhibition "Face 2 Face" as part of our Local Artist Program.

Kathy Tosch is an acrylic painter who lives in Ocean Springs and dreams in colors. She is an observer of people and nature, and loves birds, fish, and backyard beasts. Kathy paints all manner of subjects including interpretive portraits, figures, florals, and animals-- sometimes a combination of these! Her current focus is female faces.

Kathy uses color, expressive marks, symbols, and collage to create an emotional response and encourage the viewer to draw their own conclusions about the stories they see. She is a member of the Mississippi Art Colony, Ocean Springs Art Association, New Orleans Art Association, and National Museum For Women in the Arts, Mississippi state Committee.
