Introducing the Creative Complex

The Creative Complex is a campus expansion that transforms an underutilized lot adjacent to the Museum into a hub for interdisciplinary and intergenerational discovery, education, and creative placemaking in Downtown Ocean Springs.

Phase One includes a renovation to preserve and update an existing historic property, called the Art Cottage, that has long served as an education space.

Phase Two, still on the horizon, will consist of new construction and a public green space. The design for Phase Two will be informed by community conversations between stakeholders at all levels. Join us for the launch of this community-engaged design process, and learn how you can be involved in this transformational public-private partnership.
