About The Event
Presented by The Book Porter and the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, The Gulf Coast Writers’ Summit features five celebrated novelists who call the Gulf South home, and whose work is grounded in an upbringing of Southern landscape and storytelling tradition. Their narratives transport readers across the globe and through time, into floodwaters and the shadows of the French Quarter. Join us for a Sunday afternoon of conversation, readings, and literary inspiration, with opportunities for aspiring writers of all ages to visit personally with the authors.
