About The Event
(Event held in the Library at St. Martin High School)
Join the Museum and students from St. Martin High School for the culmination of Arts & Environmental Action, a yearlong program of citizen science and art making targeting the root causes of microplastics that negatively impact coastal ecosystems.Â
This free program showcases art, film, and dialogue from dynamic and passionate students who are advocating for a healthier and more sustainable world.Â
Arts & Environmental Action is a partnership between the Walter Anderson Museum of Art, Plastic Free Gulf Coast, and St. Martin High School. It is supported by the National Geographic Society and is funded, in part, by a grant from South Arts in partnership with the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Mississippi Arts Commission. Additional support is provided by the Mississippi Department of Marine Resources.
