Astrology, Tarot, and Art with Ceejay Lewis

Whether you know a little or a lot about the ancient practices of astrology and the tarot, we want to add some more knowledge to your reservoir.

Lead by WAMA staffer Ceejay Lewis and inspired by the artwork and natal chart of beloved artist, naturalist, and mystic Walter Anderson, this program guides participants further into the relationships between visual art, archetypal symbolism, and ancient practices of astrology and tarot. 

Held in the Ocean Springs Community Center that contains Anderson's monumental 3,000 square foot murals, the program offers a fresh perspective on the mural panels that Anderson created and named after the planets. Through discussions and activities, individuals will walk away with a foundational understanding of these ancient practices, having learned about how planetary symbolism can be translated through art. 

Although materials are not required, we encourage individuals to bring items for note-taking. Also, if participants know their birth date, time, and city for retrieving individual natal charts, it will contribute to a more informative experience.

You must be 18 years or older to attend this program.
