Afterschool Arts Program

The Museum will be hosting 2 sessions of 7-week long afterschool art classes every WED from 3:30-5PM in the Courtney Blossman Art Cottage located across the street from the Museum. Students must be picked up no later than 5:15PM.

These fun, interactive classes allow elementary aged children (Kindergarten - 6th grade) to explore various forms of art, learn basic techniques and discover the world around them through art and Walter Inglis Anderson. All materials provided.

Cost: $175 Non-Members | $140 Members

Session 1 will be from FEB 2 - MAR 23, with the exception of MAR 2 due to Mardi Gras Break. Session 2 will be from MAR 30 - MAY 18, with the exception of APR 20 due to Spring Break. If you find a session has already begun, please contact Elizabeth Van Loon at elizabeth@walterandersonmuseum.org or through the Museum's front desk at 228-872-3164 for a prorated price. If you have any additional questions or concerns about ticketing, please extend those to her as well.

These classes will follow the Ocean Springs School District academic calendar unless otherwise announced. Please take note of any dates that may conflict with your schedule and inform us prior to the program's start date.
