Walter Anderson believed that the artist had an obligation to the community. His 3,000 square feet of murals in the Ocean Springs Community Center were painted as a gift to the public. He did it for the grand sum of $1, a check he never cashed, epitomizing the role of culture in civic life.

every dollar brings more beauty.

When you support the Museum, not only are you ensuring the preservation of the priceless Anderson collection – you fuel educational and community outreach on site, online, and far beyond our walls.

And for the second year in a row, your contributions to the Annual Fund are matched by corporate contributions to the Creative Complex, our campus expansion the brings together art, nature, and innovation to address the challenges and opportunities of the 21st century landscape.
