SOUTHERN CULTURE ON WHEELS 2023 RAFFLE

100% OF PROCEEDS SUPPORT EDUCATION

Introducing the Walter Anderson "Eagle Eye" custom street-legal golf cart, an unprecedented adventure craft built from the ground up and wrapped in Walter Anderson's famous murals. The only one of its kind in existence.

This year's artwork features Anderson's signature "double eagles" from the Ocean Springs Community Center, also known as the "Venus" panel.

THE CAUSE

Proceeds from the raffle support year-round programming and the Museum's mission to empower lifelong curiosity and connection to the natural world.

​

"Much of our work is about educating and inspiring communities to venture beyond the confines of the everyday and into nature, and so it is fitting that this golf cart fundraiser literally injects Walter Anderson art—and the native flora and fauna that he loved—into the streets and avenues of the southern landscape," says WAMA Director Julian Rankin.

The "Eagle Eye" was built locally by Downtown Cart Rentals in Ocean Springs, with art print by Dunaway Signs in Biloxi, and includes:

 

Club Car body, all new electronics and batteries, Bluetooth sound system, lift, wheels and tires, custom embroidered seats, exclusive Walter Anderson vinyl body wrap, fold-down cargo seat. Valued at more than $10,000.

One lucky raffle winner will drive home with the "Eagle Eye", among the rarest and most sought-after rides in the Gulf South. In addition to the golf cart grand prize, your raffle ticket also enters you for a host of consolation prizes, including "Eagle Eye" skateboards, custom kicks, and officially-licensed art prints.

Rules and FAQs

  • Tickets are $25 each; $20 each for 5+ tickets.

​

  • Drawing will be held on Fat Tuesday, February 13, 2024.

​

  • Ticket buyers DO NOT need to be present to win.

​

  • Upon purchase, your raffle tickets will be tied to your name and order number; no additional ticket numbers are required.

​

  • Every raffle ticket includes a chance to win one of the multiple prizes—golf cart, skateboards, shoes, and prints.

​

  • On February 13, Grand prize winner will be drawn first, followed by consolation prize winners.

​

  • Winners are responsible for any applicable taxes, as required by law.
