Wherever we are, whether in the comfort of home or the elements of the barrier islands, we carry our stories with us. Share yours as part of the People’s History Project, a partnership of The Mary C O’Keefe Cultural Center and the Walter Anderson Museum of Art.

 

The collaboration collects community stories inspired by the vibrant history of the Gulf Coast. These narratives are collected and shared in a growing digital library that reflects on the importance of the past while championing the voices defining the region’s present and future. A selection of stories will also be adapted for audio, recorded in the Sharr-Ello Recording Studio at The Mary C.
