WAMA art camps draw inspiration from the Anderson collection and the natural world, teaching students to be more creative artists, thinkers, and people.

Space is limited for WAMA art camps. For daylong camps, students should bring their own lunch.

Tiny Masters

| Ages 5-8

10AM - 2PM daily

Young artists will spend the the day engaged in fun and creative two and three-dimensional projects with painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. 

Cost: $150 members, $200 non-members

Hearts of Art

| Ages 5-8

Monday, June 1 - Wednesday, June 3

9AM - NOON daily

Our Hearts of Art summer camp is designed for children age 6-12 with mild to moderate autism spectrum disorder, learning or developmental disabilities who typically benefit from inclusion classes at school. This three day camp introduces students to various forms of art mediums, dance and music. Camp leaders are certified teachers and behavior and speech therapists working together to create an engaging experience.

Advanced Art Techniques

9 AM - noon daily

For serious art students. Students work on a variety of advanced art projects and have opportunities to discuss ways to further their art interests in education.

Cost: $120 members, $150 non-members.

Elements of STEAM

| Ages 8-12

Monday, June 10 - Friday, June 14, 2019

10 AM - 3 PM daily

Campers will combine their artwork with science, technology, engineering, and math to take their skills to new dimensions! BYOD (Bring Your Own Device- i.e. iPad/Android Tablet). Students should bring their own lunch.

Cost: $200 members, $250 non-members

Beginners welcome. Campers will draw inspiration from the world around them to draw, paint,and create! Learn basic drawing and painting techniques.

Beginners to 3-D art and sculpture welcome. From cardboard sculptures to clay, campers will work to create whimsical and functional works of art.

Another in-depth STEAM camp harnessing the potential of innovation. Campers will combine their artwork with science, technology, engineering, and math to take their skills to new dimensions! BYOD (Bring Your Own Device- i.e. iPad/Android Tablet).
