“True art consists of spreading wide the intervals so that imagination
may fill the space between the trees.”

Walter Inglis Anderson

One of our missions here at the Walter Anderson Museum is to educate the community and to awaken the imagination to the importance of creative expression. Throughout the year we offer a number of educational opportunities for both children and adults of every age.

During the Summer months we offer an art intensive summer camp for ages 6-12. For more information on our summer programs, please CLICK HERE.

WAMA has recently started a Book Group that meets once a month to discuss a variety of books, videos, and other media related to Walter, his art, and the Anderson Family. To see when the next scheduled meeting will take place, please  CLICK HERE to see our calendar.

Throughout the year, WAMA hosts a number of guest speakers and lecturers. To see a full list of upcoming events and lectures, please visit our Calendar Page,
