Saturday, June 24th & Sunday June 25th from 9 am - 4 pm



Vicki is a member of the Mississippi Gem and Mineral Society as well as the Ocean Springs and Singing River Art Associations. She attended Wild Acres Lapidary school in North Carolina and William Holland in Georgia for wire wrapping. She specializes in cabbing which is cutting, shaping and polishing the gem stones that she uses in some of her wire wrapped pieces.

During this two day, intensive workshop, we will be making a bracelet, pendant and time permitting, a simple ring. Tools, copper wire and some beads (including stone cabochons) will be furnished for all wire wrapping projects. She will also demonstrate how to make chain links for necklaces.

Students may bring their own tools, wire, beads, and gem stones to use.

Instructor will have some beads, cabs and silver wire for sale if anyone would like to purchase.

One of our missions here at the Walter Anderson Museum is to educate the community and to awaken the imagination to the importance of creative expression. Throughout the year we offer a number of educational opportunities for both children and adults of every age.
